The Actives that Snatched Tigger

D. Chalking

The chalking of walkways (no walls or vertical surfaces), concrete or asphalt, to promote campus events is permissible. Chalking must be at least 30 feet away from the entrance to any building. Chalking is prohibited at the Residence Hall properties and the Bookstore Plaza. The use of aerosol spray chalk is prohibited.

Sectionals UPDATE


Olympic Games Update

· Team submissions:

o Please designate a team captain.

o The deadline (April 3rd) to submit teams has passed. If you have not already emailed us, shame on you! Email apoks.sectionals10@gmail.com by Monday April 5th by midnight.

· The broad jump and running jump have been removed. We have replaced it with a 200 meter dash, discus throw, and shot-put.

· The hurdles are approximately 2 feet high.

· Note: Please make sure your voting delegates are not slated to play dodgeball, as the business meeting will run concurrently for that hour.


Roll Call
  • Music for Roll Call was due on April 3rd. If you have not submitted music yet, send it to apoks.sectionals10@gmail.com by Monday April 5th by midnight.
    • Please send your music in mp3 format.
  • The dimensions of the stage are 36’ wide, 16’ deep, and 32” off the floor.
  • After Roll Call, we are having a TOGA dance party. Don’t forget your togas!!!

Silent Auction
There will be a Silent Auction to benefit the Sacramento Food Bank.

· Please bring Campus & Chapter. Donate a sweater, a notebook, a stuffed animal to represent your school or bring the latest rush t-shirt from your chapter.

· Don’t forget to bring cash so you place bids and make off with awesome goodies!!!

· Bring a sleeping bag, a pillow, blankets, toiletries, etc.

Webmaster Update 4/1/10

Hello Brothers,

Website Draft! o__O
I made a quick draft of a new website layout. It cuts out the expanding design I originally had and for the moment the twitter feed is on the bottom of the page until I can find a better use for the complete right side of  the page.

New Website Features o___O!?!
Also, I am working on two other things to the site. The first is sending an e-mail via the website. The second is the FAQ page that I briefly discussed yesterday. I'm planning to include:

  • Syncing our google calendar to your smart/not-smartphone (if you are willing to use data or text)
  • Orgsync Registration
  • Listserv Registration
  • What is Chairing
  • Stealing Etiquette

Sectionals Update: Registration CLOSES Monday, March 29

Brothers!

Online Registration will be closing at midnight on Monday, March 29. Please make sure to register at the latest on Monday if you want a T-shirt.

There will be on-site registration the day of the event. The number of slots will be for about 5% of online registration, so approximately 25 people can register upon arrival. However, we will NOT guarantee you a T-SHIRT. If we have shirts, we may not have your size, so REGISTER NOW!
